Alison aka House Party Queen, Radio & Chat Show host is relatively new to Radio & chat show live streaming, however she possesses a wealth of experience in interviewing and blogging on the Soca scene. A lover of all music, the House Party Queen has evolved from the Covid lockdown to hosting zoom parties and now a chat & radio show host.
I wanted to be a radio presenter from when I was a child. When it came time to go to university, I told my parents I wanted to be a radio presenter, but they said ‘that’s not a job for decent girls’. In those days you did what you were told, so I went to work in the IT industry. In 2018 I got the opportunity to present Afrobeats shows in Slam radio and gain invaluable experience. Though I am fairly new in the game, I am learning and loving every minute of it.
